E. Jakarta, The Winner of Beduk Festival and Chanting Takbir 2017

Participant from East Jakarta was awarded as the first winner of Beduk Festival and Chanting Takbir 2017 after gone through the tight competition.  

This was held gradually since June 16 from urban village level, sub-district, city, until provincial level

The second winner was obtained by North Jakarta and the third winner was Central Jakarta.

Besides trophy, certificate, and one goat, they were deserved to get coaching money prize. The first winner got Rp 15 million, the second winner got Rp10 million, and the third winner got Rp 7.5 million.

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said, this festival was held to celebrate both Eid ul-Fitr 1438 Hijriah and Jakarta's 490th anniversary.

"This was held gradually since June 16 from urban village level, sub-district, city, until provincial level," he said at City Hall, Saturday (6/24) night.

According to him, beduk layout on the stage was made to represent Jakarta's anniversary. There were 22 beduks on the right and left side and 6 beduks on the center of the stage.

"It was made to represent Jakarta's anniversary on June 22," he expressed.

For information, the competition was judged by five judges. They are Jelly Tobing, the famous drummer; Slamet Rahardjo, as both actor and director; Lasqi, The Head of DPP, Euis Sri Mulyani, Diding Zaenudin, and Radja Nasution.

It was also enlivened by City's top artists, such as Vina Panduwinata, Chintami Atmanegara, and Ikang Fauzi.
