The 50 cm overflowed of Angke River had inundated Jalan Kembangan Utara, Kembangan, West Jakarta. The river could not hold water debt due to heavy rain since Thursday (6/12) . The condition had disrupted local resident's activity.

Yusniar (53), a resident of RT 01/02, Kembangan Utara urban Village, said that the road was inundated since Friday (6/13) morning, or at 5 AM. "The heavy rain did not inundated the road, but the water started to flow on Friday morning," she said.
Due to high level of water, students of SDN 01 and 02 have to break through the flood.
Heavy Rain, Kampung Pulo InundatedSlamet Riyadi, Kembangan Sub-district head, explained Jalan Kembangan Utara is prone of flood. Similar condition had happened in January 2014, when rainy season inundated the area up to 1 meter and caused residents evacuated.
"There is a plan from Sub-dept. of Water Management to provide pump house as effort to minimize flood. It is hoped to be realized this year," he stated.
