Led by Lieutenant Colonel Huw Evans, three MSSG representatives intentionally came to City Hall, Thursday (6/19), to hold a meeting with Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama and Indonesian Army to learn flood handling techniques.

After discussing, they now have different views about Jakartans who previously assessed bad, but after came here they felt that Jakarta is great. They also saw that local wisdom in Jakarta has its own advantages in handling flood. Probably in there it’s not like in here. If we were flooded, the news is loud,” uttered Basuki after the meeting.

Meanwhile, District Military Command 0613 Commander Lt. Col. Rudy Jan Pribadi explained that the British Army was curious about flood handling in Jakarta that involves many elements, such as national and regional disaster mitigation agencies (BNPB and BPBD), Social  Department, et cetera.
