A container truck B 9915 SYK capsized on Jalan Daan Mogot KM 17, Kalideres, West Jakarta, Friday (6/20) morning. Since the position of the truck carrying snacks transverse across the street, traffic flow from Kalideres towards Cengkareng becomes severely congested.

The driver did not realized there is a huge hole, so the truck’s tire was in and made the truck capsized

Rinto (45), a motorcycle-taxi (ojek) driver who based not far from the scene, said the truck was coming from Semanan towards Cengkareng. When turned around at KM 17 Daan Mogot, the truck lost its balance and capsized.

“ The driver did not realized there is a huge hole, so the truck’s tire was in and made the truck capsized ,” he told.

At this time, the truck is still being evacuated by the police.

“The container truck is quite big. We’re still waiting for crane car to come and lift the truck. This case is handled by Kalideres Sector Police traffic accident unit,” stated West Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief AKBP Ipung Purnomo.
