Good news for Jakartans. For those of you who want to shop basic needs can check its price through the Strategic Food Prices Information Center (PIHPS) which named the Jakarta Food Information (IPJ). The 13 markets consist of two wholesale markets (Cipinang Rice and Kramat Jati markets) and 11 other markets spread in five municipalities, namely Senen, Jembatan Merah, Minggu, Glodok, Grogol, Pramuka, Mayestik, Jatinegara, Kramat Jati, Sunter, and Rawa Badak.

IPJ will also provide the most current information on food prices in the markets. Its development was initiated by the Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) together with Jakarta Provincial Government, Bank of Indonesia, and PD Pasar Jaya.
“Moreover, Jakarta as a metropolitan city is a barometer to the national economy. I hope IPJ would be able to contribute big in setting national inflation rate,” he uttered.
In this PIHPS inauguration, the event is also attended by Deputy Governor of Bank of Indonesia, Hendar, and Director of PD Pasar Jaya, Djangga Lubis.
