City to Revise Gubernatorial Regulation About Billboard Providers

Jakarta Provincial Government is going to revise Gubernatorial Regulation No. 148/2017 on Implementation Guidelines for Billboard Providers. It is targeted to be completed in January 2018.

Edy Juanedi Harahap, Head of Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Dept. (DPM and PTSP) disclosed, his dept. has met with Indonesian Outdoor Media Association (AMLI) to discuss the revision of this regulation.

As the initial stage, he will form a small team to discuss it. "And it is targeted can be completed in the next two months," he told.
He assessed, it will be organized on the advertisers of billboard, either LED or conventional.
In the meantime, Jakarta AMLI Chairperson, Nuke Mayasaphira hoped there would be arrangement of LED and conventional concept for billboard provider.
"We also want our industry to grow well and healthy," he expressed.
He mentions, there are currently listed 2,400 locations or billboard points in the capital. From that number, nine percent of them are LED billboards and the rest are still conventional.
