Council to Summon PT Transjakarta on Modification of Transjakarta's Trip Routes

Jakarta DPRD's Commission B is slated to summon President Director of PT Transjakarta to request an explanation about the modification of Transjakarta's trip routes.

Must report its progress and discuss its studies

Darussalam, Secretary of Jakarta DPRD's Commission B said, from the modification results, there are several deleted Transjakarta routes such as lane 6B (Ragunan-Monas route via Semanggi). It will be imposed on Monday (11/20) next week.

According to him, it will be discussed with the commission B first to avoid customer losses.

"Must report its progress and discuss its studies," he stated, Tuesday (11/14).

Similar statement stated by another member, Subandi. He does not agree if the modification of Transjakarta route is detrimental to people.

Previously, Transjakarta Presidential Director, Budi Kaliwono disclosed that his party modified the route to avoid traffic jam in several infrastructure development sites.

"We have been conducting a two-week trial on Ragunan-Monas route via Pangeran Antasari. As a results, duration of trip time is shorter than Ragunan-Monas via Semanggi or Kuningan that can reach over two hours," he closed.
