A prisoner named Asep over drug case escaped from the Salemba Prison, Central Jakarta, after he trick police officers using fake ID card. The fake ID card was obtained from his wife when visiting him along with a motorcycle-taxi driver, Saturday (6/28).
This escaping was reported to Cempaka Putih Metro Sector Police at 11 PM
Chief of City Police Public Relation Division, Sr. Comr. Rikwanto explained Asep escaped around 2.30 PM, yesterday. "This escaping was reported to Cempaka Putih Metro Sector Police at 11 PM," he expressed, Sunday (6/29).
He explained that such prisoner who were sentenced to five years in prison by the West Jakarta District Court, escaped when his wife was visiting him along with a motorcycle-taxi driver, Sunardi. "Sunardi came while bringing a fake ID card on behalf of Abdul Gani, and Asep escaped through the front door by claiming as Abdul Gani. He then borrowed the identity from his wife. Thus far, we're still eyeing them," he told.
