New Year's Celebration, Three Central Parking Areas in Ancol Prepared

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol will prepare three central parking areas in Ancol area, North Jakarta. It is done to anticipate the buildup of the visitors.

The parking area itself is able to accommodate 13,000 cars and 30,000 motorcycles

Taman Impian Jaya Ancol General Manager, Sunarto expressed those three parking areas will be set up on the east side of the Carnival and Seaworld Beaches, west side of the Beach Festival area, as well as central side of the Ecovention and the Art Market areas.

"The parking area itself is able to accommodate 13,000 cars and 30,000 motorcycles," he stated, Thursday (12/28).

He explained, it would be operated on Sunday (12/31) up to Monday (1/1). For the initial stage, at 5-9 AM, vehicle will be directed to use the east side of the parking area.

"Other supporting facilities are also prepared, namely 46 toilets, 12 buses, 12 lifeguard posts, and 11 ambulances," he explained.

Meanwhile, North Jakarta Metro Resort Police's Public Relation Sub-Section Head, HM Sungkono uttered, 3,500 personnel would be deployed to manage vehicle traffic in Ancol tour site.

"We're ready to maintain, support security, and smoothen traffic here." For the mechanism, there will be further discussion," he stated.
