IRTI Monas Market to Be Inaugurated Upcoming August

The revitalization of IRTI Monas Market, which still under construction using Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund, is targeted to finish before upcoming August ends. Before the market is inaugurated, 329 guided vendors will be given coaching and training as well as informed about the terms and conditions while they are selling in the market.

According to Indrastuti, her department later will also give IRTI Monas Market vendors uniforms and cooking utensils. In addition, the vendors will also receive trainings that are match with their skills.

For information, IRT Monas Market will be crowded with 150 culinary vendors who have own brands. Besides them, there will be also vendors selling clothes, souvenirs, and children toys. All 329 vendors will occupy kiosks in the size of 2x2 square meters each. The operational time of this market is from 8 AM until 8 PM.

When the market has officially operated, IRTI Monas Market vendors must obey five rules that cannot be violated. Those rules are prohibition to stay the night in the market, pile goods, and transfer kiosk, as well as one kiosk for one household and maintain cleanliness.
“If vendors violated those rules, we will tell them to get out. We will also coordinate with Satpol PP to monitor the vendors,” said Indrastuti.
