Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno is about to request 10,000 tons of rice towards National Logistics Agency (Bulog).

It is done to ensure to the public that the stock of rice in Jakarta is safe.
"We want they (Bulog) to add 5,000 tons of rice for market operation and 5,000 tons for commercial market," he disclosed, at City Hall, Wednesday (1/17).

"This is to send a message to the market that we have enough stock," he asserted.
He also has made another request to PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya and PD Pasar Jaya to optimize the lane of distribution. His party will continue to monitor it in the field.
"This is what we make sure. Don't expect high market expectations, but less supply. It is responded well by us," he stated.
