Lunar Eclipse Phenomenon on East Coast of Ancol Tonight

The Ancol Taman Impian management in cooperation with Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), gives an opportunity for people who want to witness the phenomenon of lunar eclipse, Wednesday (1/31) tonight. Visitors can see the lunar eclipse process by using two large binoculars.

BMKG speakers will explain the rare event. It will also be live streaming on media.bmkg.go.id/hilal

Ancol Taman Impian Corporate Communication Manager, Rika Lestari said, two large binoculars belonging to BMKG will be placed on the East Coast of Ancol. Ancol management will arrange the queue of visitors to use the binoculars in turn.

"BMKG speakers will explain the rare event. It will also be live streaming on media.bmkg.go.id/hilal," he told.

She explains, to access it, the wara wiri bus will be alerted to shuttle visitors before and after the observation activities.

Ancol Taman Impian Recreation Director, Teuku Sahir Syahali, appreaciates BMKG is preparing speakers and lend binoculars to observe the lunar eclipse. For visitors who want to witness the phenomenon are welcome to come in the afternoon.

"Hopefully visitors can get the information that will be explained by sources from BMKG speakers," he uttered.
