South Jakarta Mayor, Arifin said, thus far, diphtheria ORI has been run in three sub-districts. Today, it is done in Setiabudi Sub-district. Previously similar program was also held in Kebayoran Baru Sub-district and Pesanggrahan Sub-district.

He explained diphtheria immunization would keep being intensified in other sub-districts. Considering diphtheria case has been recorded in the extraordinary occurrence (KLB) whereby it has already spread to all over Indonesia.
"Hopefully our target can hit 100 percent. Moreover, to prevent diphtheria can only go through immunization," he stressed.
His side asks local people in his region to undergo immunization. It is important to prevent transmission of diphtheria disease.
"Our mindset needs to be changed. That is how we all can educate locals to ensure the implementation of ORI," he uttered.
