Friday, LRT Train Set at Tanjung Priok Port Arrived

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) President Director, Satya Heragandhi stated, if there is no obstacle, one train set of light rail transit (LRT) from South Korea will arrive at Tanjung Priok Port on Friday (4/13).

Because it coincides with weekend and Car Free Day, perhaps we will release the train next week

Despite it is arrived at Tanjung Priok Port on the upcoming Friday, he explained, his side has yet to release the train set from the port. 

"Because it coincides with weekend and Car Free Day, perhaps we will release the train next week," he expressed, Wednesday (4/11).

LRT Construction Has Reached 65.17 Percent

He added train shipment is done gradually, the second train set is hoped to be arrived in the upcoming May. He also hoped the trial could be ended in July thus it can operate in August.

Totally the train that will operate for phase I corridor I (Kelapa Gading-Velodrome) along 5.8 km is 8 train sets or 16 train cars.

"Hopefully all trains can be operated in October 2018," he stated.
