Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta holds Betawi Cultural Art Performance.
250 PAUD students will participate in carnival by wearing Betawi clothing
It is held to commemorate Jakarta's 491st anniversary and will be participated by 250 early childhood education program (PAUD) students.
Pondok Pinang Urban Village Head, Hendri Nopriyadi mentioned, there will be various performances to enliven the event, such as PAUD students carnival and Silat Beksi (martial art).

According to him, this event is also held to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Beksi Akar Pinang martial art. His side wants to encourage residents to take a part in preserving Betawi culture such as Silat Beksi.
"We want residents to take a part in preserving Betawi cultures together with three pillar ranks in Pondok Pinang," he expressed.
