East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) socializes people about parking ban along Jalan Kayu Mas Raya, Pulogadung, Tuesday (5/8). Two weeks later, Sudinhub will be strict to any illegally parked vehicles along that road.

During the socialization, we want residents and urban village to supervise and report if there is any vehicle that violates the rules

East Jakarta Sudinhub's Traffic Section Head, Andreas Eman said, his side conducts socialization because local residents complain about illegal parking that causing traffic jam and disturbing the local residents.

"Many people have complained to us about illegal parking in here. There is a no parking sign in the area but still there are vehicles that parked illegally. Thus we socialize about parking ban in here," he explained.

In this socialization, officers install two banners with size 4x1.5 square meters in each corners of Jalan Kayu Mas Raya. Then his side distributes 50 pamphlets to RW 10 Pulogadung Urban Village residents. Officers also immediately warns people who want to park their vehicle in the area to move and park it in a proper place.

According to him, his side gives two weeks for socialization. For those who are still parking in the area, his side will control them by ticketing the violators or towing the vehicles.

"During the socialization, we want residents and urban village to supervise and report if there is any vehicle that violates the rules. We ensure to control it," he affirmed.
