It is a form of cooperation of OK OCE Smart community public private partnership and PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol.

The products promoted in the centers are, rengginang (sticky rice-made traditional snacks), dodol (sticky candy), bir pletok (ginger drink with spices) and other typical Betawi cakes. Previously, similar locations had also been operating in Pasar Minggu and Kota Intan areas.
Besides preserving Betawi culture, it also aims to revive the market as one of the cultural tourism icons. Later on, the market will also be encouraged to be the center of youth activities.
"The market will be revived thus we can take part in preserving Betawi culture. We want to create opportunities for UKMs and to create more job opportunities," he told.
During Eid holidays, Ancol visitors are estimated to hit 1.2 million people. It can be used to promote Betawi products in the market.
"It will be a blessing for us to present products that will drive the economy and reduce inequality," he stated.
