Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan has officially closed education and training (Diklat) for public transportation driver certification at Pola Bappeda Room, City Hall, Thursday (7/19).
In his speech, he expects those 250 public transportation drivers who have passed on Diklat to be the vanguard in implementing traffic safety.

He affirmed, participants should implement all the good things they got in this training when they are returned to work as public vehicle drivers.
"The main purpose in joining this training is there should be a change in driving manners for safety, public order, and comfort," he said.
Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah explained, 250 diklat participants are drivers of public transportation in Jakarta such as Metromini, KWK, and others. It is the result of cooperation between Jakarta Transportation Dept. with Indonesian Transportation Dept.'s Polytechnic of Road Transport Safety.
He informed, this activity is started since February to April in Tegal, Central Java and divided into 10 classes with 25 participants in each classes.
"With this Diklat which is intended for drivers, we hope they could understand the importance of road safety and implement it," he expressed.
