South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. began constructing a crossing of Jalan Kahfi II, Ciganjur, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept.'s Maintenance Section Head, Firmansyah stated crossing construction is carried out to connect between sides of the water channel as wide as one meter with 10 meters length. 

In other words, the Kali Cabang Tengah channel in front of Si Pitung Setu Babakan's door will be interconnected with the other channels on Jalan Kahfi II, Ciganjur, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta

"It is done by digging and splitting Jalan Kahfi II and then continued with 10 box culverts installation in the size of 100x100 centimeters," he expressed, Thursday (9/13).

It has been carried out since Wednesday (9/12) night and is predicted to be finished on the forthcoming Saturday. In the field, his side has deployed 15 officers under South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. and Jagakarsa Sub-district Water Resources, as well as 1 heavy equipment PC.75 and 4 dump trucks.

Afterwards, the results of road excavation are immediately transported using dump truck to be disposed to the Dumping Site in Rawa Minyak area, Pasar Minggu. Certainly, during the construction, the road had to be closed by coordinating with regional heads and related units to apply traffic engineering.
