"The shortcut will connect with Jalan Tanjung Selor towards Jalan Subur Baru or vice versa due to closure of railway crossing," expressed Suk Wibowo, Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept., Wednesday (9/19).

According to him, his side took the initiative to develop shortcut about 50 meters with four meters wide under the overpass that is prone to illegal parking.

"Demolishment has been done and will be continued by cleaning the material and casting the road," he told.

To speed up its development,15 officers assisted by one heavy equipment have been deployed to the location.

"Hopefully it can help people who want to go to Jalan Tanjung Selor and Jalan Subur Baru," he hoped.
