"In most cases, there is no problem in its process. Service request can be completed no later than three days," he mentioned, Monday (9/14).

He explained, there are four fishery services provided in e-Penlok application and almost all services are done digitally. Those are fishery business permit, fishing licenses, fishing boat licenses, and fishing boat registration records.

In order to use e-Penlok, he informed, boat owner only needs to complete all requirement documents as mentioned in application. Then, they need to input time when boat is available for survey. Next, local Port Authorities (KSOP) will validate boat whereabouts and team from PTSP and Dept. of Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity will come to observe and assess the boat.

"This application is also effective to build synergy between institutions thus licensing process can be done faster. We will develop other licensing services," he conveyed.
