Acting Gov. Inducts 440 Functional Officials

Starting today, we're becoming a momentum to continuously improve the performance of the city government 

Acting Jakarta Governor, Saefullah has inaugurated 440 functional officials and 9 SKPDs.

He disclosed that functional position is a position to work and have the task of functional services with particular characteristics.

"This functional position provides more open career opportunities, starting from opportunities to fill positions in Echelon IV, III, II, up to I," he expressed, at Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday (10/30).

Aside that, the state civil apparatus (ASN) under Jakarta Provincial Government must be committed to improving service and community welfare, as well as increasing the work ethic as a servant of the state and public servants.

"They (ASN) must also be able to realize the city of Jakarta that is advancing its city and happy citizens in accordance with the vision and mission of the governor," he explained.

He reminds them not to fall in corruption and to uphold integrity and loyalty.

"Starting today, we're becoming a momentum to continuously improve the performance of the city government through improving the quality and acceleration of more professional public servants," he stated

As for the information, inauguration itself is dedicated to 15 types of functional positions including doctors, midwives, nurses, public health counselors, teachers, archivists, goods/services procurement managers, labor inspectors, instructors, and auditors.

While for the nine SKPDs are consisting of Inspectorate, Regional Personnel Agency (BKD), and Goods/Services Procurement Service Agency.

There are also Education Dept., Health Dept., KUKMP Dept., Investment and PTSP Dept., Manpower and Transmigration Dept., and Satpol PP.
