Unruly PKB Employees Asked to Resign

Proofs of cheating practices in Kedaung Kaliangke Motor Vehicle Testing Hall (PKB), West Jakarta, have been kept in hands by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Even so, Jakarta Provincial Government is still holding some investigations against officials who are allegedly involved. If they were proven involved in the cheating, firm sanction awaits them.

I’m giving you options, you may resign or being processed by the police. Proofs in KPK are all clear. They can drag you to criminal sanction

“I’m giving you options, you may resign or being processed by the police. Proofs in KPK are all clear. They can drag you to criminal sanction,” asserted Vice Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama, Friday (8/8).

According to Basuki, Jakarta Provincial Government may re-open Kedaung Kaliangke PKB. But before it operates again, all of its employees who are proven cheating will be fired first.

Basuki Threatened to Shut Down PKB Center

“We could just re-open the PKB. But, we fired all of its employees first. Now, we’re going to cooperate with PT SGS Indonesia for the procurement of testing equipments before the PKB re-opened. The company is currently holding survey,” he stated.

As known, Basuki and KPK’s Deputy Chief, Bambang Widjojanto, held inspection in Kedaung Kaliangke PKB on last July 23. At that time, Basuki found out that some testing equipments were not working properly. In addition, they also found millions of rupiah which allegedly coming from the cheating done by PKB employees. Because of that, Basuki decided to temporarily shut down all services there.
