City-BPPT Cooperates to Develop Microgrid Electricity Network

The Jakarta Provincial Government along with the Assessment and Application of Technology (BBPPT), agreed to work together on the construction of a microgrid electricity network connection system on Pramuka Island, Thousand Islands.

Its cooperation was officially signed by Jakarta Industry and Energy Agency Acting Head, Ricki Marojahan Mulia and BPPT's Energy Conversion Technology Center Head, Mohammad Mustafa Sarinanto.
It was witnessed by Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan along with BPPT's Information Technology, Energy and Materials Deputy, Eniya Listiani Dewi.
City-BPPT Have Signed MoU on Project of Garbage PLTAnies stated that its construction will be executed in the upcoming June.
"It's hoped able to maximize electricity supply in Thousand Islands," he hoped, at City Hall, Tuesday (2/19).
Thus it can
make the Thousand Islands a pilot project for supplying electricity in other islands in Indonesia.In the meantime, BPPT's Information Technology, Energy and Materials Deputy, Eniya Listiani Dewi uttered that the microgrid system would be prioritized to serve electricity supply at the Thousand Islands Regent Office, Thousand Islands Hospital, and SMAN 69 Thousand Islands.
"BPPT plans to involve Chungbuk National University in its implementation, thus it can be an educational tour," she stated.
