As many as 12 locations of guided street vendors in Central Jakarta were closed down by the local Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises and Trade (KUMKMP) Sub-Departments. Those locations are located on Jalan Kendal (Menteng Sub-District), Jalan Percetakan Negara IV (Johar Baru Sub-District), Jalan Sangaji, Jalan Pembangunan III (Gambir Sub-District), Jalan Kartini Raya, Jalan Dwi Warna (Sawah Besar Sub-District), Jalan Sumur Batu (Kemayoran Sub-District), Jalan Melati, Jalan Salemba Bluntas (Senen Sub-District), Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah Raya and Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah II (Cempaka Putih SUb-District).

Indrastuti explained before closing down 12 locations, his sub-department did a survey in the field first. She also received complaints from residents over inconvenience of peddlers activity.
"Vendors also set up their stalls on the sidewalk and roadside, causing residents activities disturbed," she told.
Nevertheless, she still gives a solution by offering a new location on Pulau Gundul Market which is located in Palmerah, Central Jakarta. "We've told the vendors, they could set up stalls in the guidance location (lokbin) by registering themselves to Pulau Gundul Market's Technical Management Unit (UPT)," she uttered.
