Regarding public transport integration facilities development, PT. Transjakarta has operated Bundaran HI Shelter that has been integrated with MRT and Rawamangun shelter with LRT. PT. Transjakarta also plans to add more buses and integrated bus shelters in the future.
Transjakarta President Director, Agung Wicaksono said, integrated bus shelter is needed for Transjakrta bus passengers who want to travel with various public transports.Transjakarta Supports Signage and Wayfinding at 28 Bus Stops
"We plan to build integration facilities in Tosari Shelter and Lebak Bulus Shelter in the near future. For now, we have finished designing CSW Shelter and will continue to make design for Cawang UKI Shelter within this year," he explained, Thursday (8/15).
Until this July, he informed, there are 3,305 Transjakarta buses that have been integrated with Jak Lingko program. It contains of 244 articulated buses, 953 single buses, 289 low entry buses, 302 maxi buses, 28 double decker buses, 410 medium buses, and 1,053 micro buses.
"We also have 26 Transjakarta care buses which are used to transport disabled people from their houses to the nearest bus shelter," he added.
According to him, his side plans to add 310 medium buses in the future, but it will
be done gradually in order to facilitate more people to use public transport that is more convenient and eco-friendly.
