Central Jakarta Tourism and Culture Sub-agency is set to hold Kebon Bang Jaim Festival that will take place from August 23 until 24, along Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jalan Sabang, Jalan Jaksa and Jalan Wahid Hasyim, on Friday (8/22).

The festival, which takes the theme 'The New Face of Jakarta in Enchantment of Kebon Bang Jaim' acts to celebrate the country's 74th Independence Day and revive Betawi culture.

There would be various activities from bazaar, art and culture performance, music entertainment stage, stand up comedy, Jakarta Fashion Carnival, photo exhibition until Greater Jakarta cosplay.
"We also have red-white fun run with 550 participants as of Saturday, starting from Jalan Jaksa, Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Jalan Sabang, Jalan Kebon Sirih and back to Jalan Jaksa," she stated.
Its festival divided into several zones such as Betawi culinary, hospitality featuring dozens of bazaars from hotels in Kebon Sirih, on Jalan Jaksa, Jalan Wahid Hasyim and Jalan Sabang, food truck which consists of fast food and others, fashion and community.
