The Betawi cultural arts performances will be held in order to commemorate the celebration of the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village's 19th anniversary on Sunday (9/15). 

Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village Management Unit Head, Rofiqoh Mustafara said it is scheduled to be staged in the Zone A of Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village on Jalan Moch Kahfi II, Srengseng Sawah Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta.

"It is set to start at 2 PM to 10 PM. Surely this is free of charge. So let's come with your kids to introduce them about Betawi art and culture, "he said, Thursday (9/12).

There will be also bazaars that offer 24 kinds of culinary such as laksa, fried sprouts, nasi uduk (rice cooked in coconut milk), kerak telor (spicy omelet), soto Betawi, gado-gado (vegetable salad with peanut sauce), selendang mayang (dessert made from rice flour and palm sugar) and so forth.

"We also want to further promote the Betawi culinary delights," he stated.
