The Jakarta Provincial Government has dispatched the Jakarta Clean Water personnel to several regions of Jakarta, following the long dry season in several parts of the capital.

Those sub-districts are Menteng, Gambir, Kemayoran, Tanah Abang, Cilincing, Tanjung Priok, Koja, Kelapa Gading, Penjaringan, Tebet, Pasar Minggu, Setiabudi, Makasar, Pulogadung and Cipayung.
While according to the PAM Jaya'a data, there are 41 urban villages or 15.47 percent have yet to enjoy the PAM water service and 11 other urban villages or 4.15 percent are included in the category of potential for drought.
Those urban villages are Kapuk Muara, Kamal Muara, Pondok Rangon, Munjul, Cilangkap, Setu, Bambu Apus, Ceger, Lubang Buaya, Kebon Pala and Halim Perdana Kusuma.
He asserted these personnel's duty is to ensure citizen get a clean water supply in the midst of drought conditions that come in a variety of legal efforts and cross-agency coordination.
"Do everything correctly and legally to ensure the fulfillment of clean water needs for citizens," he explained.
Thereby they have to hold on the motto of Ready, Responsive, Galang. Being. Ready means that all personnel must be more responsive, Responsive means that every time there is a problem, it is immediately worked on, and Galang means that inviting all parties to coordinate across agencies to ensure that the residents' clean water needs are met.

Thus far, two urban villages experienced drought and needed an immediate supply of clean water, namely Kalideres and Pejagalan.
Regarding report mechanism, the community or the village can report the need for clean water due to drought through telephone to the Jakarta Siaga Call Center 112 or Jakarta Safe Application through the "LAPOR" feature.
The incoming report will be verified to the authorities in the reported area regarding the location, number of people affected, and the number of reported drought cases. After verification, it will be followed up by the Clean Water Task Force by distributing clean water assistance to the destination area.
