West Jakarta Mayor, Rustam Effendi asks all of West Jakarta apparatuses to check condition of the channels, rivers, reservoirs and pump houses to anticipate rainy season in the near future.

I want urban village, sub-district heads and sub-department personnel to ensure all of them can be functioned optimally

"I want urban village, sub-district heads and sub-department personnel to ensure all of water channels can be functioned optimally. W e will match data in urban village with sub-department," he asserted, Tuesday (10/22).

He also encourages civil apparatuses to ensure channels and reservoirs located near their house have been cleaned and dredged thus it can hold the water optimally, especially when it rains.

"I also want protocol roads such as Jalan S. Parman to be free from inundation," he stated.
