Library Sub-agency Has Distributed 9,000 Books

We want to continue to grow asking to read the community, especially kids

The Central Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency has noted that as many as 9,000 books have been distributed along January - October 7.

Those books are to libraries in the child friendly playgrounds (RPTRA), schools, reading corner in RW offices and Rawa Sari flats.

"We want to continue to grow asking to read the community, especially kids," expressed Central Jakarta Library and Archives Sub-agency Head Meti Lastri, Thursday (10/24).

She explained each location received about 500-700 books, ranging from types of kid's reading books, fiction, novels, skills and motivational books, including supporting school lessons.

"These books can later be exchanged with new book types and titles every once three to six months," he explained.

Up to December, as many as 3,000 books would be distributed to the Rawasari Ceria RPTRA, Beringin RPRA, Planet Senen RPTRA, An Nur RPTRA, reading corner at the office of RW 07 Kramat Urban Village and reading corner at the office of RW 05 Galur Urban Village.

"Each will get 500 books," she closed.
