Let's Enliven Creative IKM Product Exhibition 2019 at City Hall

Jakarta Industry and Energy (PE) Department holds Creative IKM Product Exhibition 2019 at City Hall on October 28-31, 2019.

It is a form of Jakarta Government's support by facilitating IKMs to promote their products

There are 64 small and medium enterprises (IKM)s participated in this event. For detail, there are 38 F&B (food and beverages) IKMs, 12 fashion IKMs, 12 handicraft IKMs, and 2 cosmetic/handmade soap IKMs.

Those IKMs are coached under PE Department from five Jakarta regions, DKI Jakarta Dekranasda, and Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) Prgram at sub-district level.

Jakarta PE Department's Industry Division Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo mentioned, this event is held to assist IKMs thus they can expand their marketing networks and increase their income.

"It is a form of Jakarta Government's support by facilitating IKMs to promote their products, help them in marketing mechanism, including networking development," she explained, Tuesday (10/29).

She assessed that indirectly, IKMs' products are able to compete with other products in the market from the same industries.

"This is a good opportunity for IKMs to introduce their products, improve, and develop their creative products thus they able to compete and create job opportunities for communities," she mentioned.

Moreover, she continued, this opportunity should them in making great innovations for producers of IKM creative products and use the access to sell products through offline and online marketing.

"We also support more young people to be IKMs in Jakarta," he stated.
