Jakarta Provincial Government is about to hold the 2014 Lebaran Betawi Festival in the Monas's field on Saturday (9/13) and Sunday (9/14). The festival is an effort of Jakarta government in preserving Betawi culture.
"Jakarta government only gives facilitation. Due to this is the government's effort to preserve Betawi culture in Jakarta," said City Secretary, Saefullah, Thursday (9/11).

On the other hand, Former Vice Jakarta Governor, Edi Marzuki Nalpraya revealed that besides Betawi, other ethnic groups will also be participated in such festival. "This is to prove that the Betawian people, very tolerant to anyone who comes to Jakarta," he uttered.
As many as 10,000 visitors are targeted to enliven the 2014 Lebaran Betawi Festival this year. His side also has coordinated with Satpol PP and Jakarta Transportation Department to support and smoothen the festival.
Later on, Nalpraya was scheduled to welcome conductivity of 98 community organizations on Saturday (9/13). While City Secretary, Saefullah scheduled to welcome conductivity of regional working units (SKPD) under Jakarta government on the next day.
