DPRD Chairman Reminds PE Department Nomenclature Change Plan

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi reminds the plan to change nomenclature in the Industry and Energy (PE) Department in 2020.

The point is, all this year's ongoing activities should be completed first

In the future, he continued, Industry matters will be managed in the Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Trade (KUKMP) Department and the Energy will be a part of Environment (LH) Department.

"The point is, all this year's ongoing activities should be completed first and don't think too much forward," he asserted, in the 2020 budget priorities and preliminary threshold (KUA-PPAS) meeting between Commission B and PE Department, Jakarta DPRD Building, Monday (11/11).

Commission B Supports PE to Improve City Lighting

According to him, the agency work plan should be finished in this year in order to avoid overlapping in the future.

"You need to evaluate and optimize all activities and budget that have been agreed by council," he conveyed, who also served as Coordinator in Commission B.

He reminds the executive to always pay attention to utility repairs and maintenance for the sake of Jakartans. Including, if later PE Department is dissolved and merged with other regional apparatus organizations (OPD).

"I see the new street lights have been installed. This should be concerned, whether the old streetlight needs to be removed or not," he mentioned.
