PT Jakpro to Build 200 Flat Towers

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro), as one of city-owned enterprises (BUMD), supports Jakarta Provincial Government’s programs in providing cheap housing for the citizens. For realization, the company is going to build 200 flat towers in East Jakarta which groundbreaking to be done in upcoming October.

This flat construction is to help Jakarta Provincial Government in fulfilling housing for lower-middle class citizens

“A land as wide as 100 hectares has been acquisitioned and three towers will be built in early phase. This flat construction is to help Jakarta Provincial Government in fulfilling housing for lower-middle class citizens,” stated PT Jakpro President Director, Budi Karya Sumadi, Monday (9/22).

According to Sumadi, each tower would be able to accommodate 100 households or 500 people. If 200 towers finished built, as many as 20,000 souls could be accommodated.

“It would very much help the effort of Jakarta Provincial Government that is currently vigorous in relocating the citizens living on riverbanks. Later, the flat will be equipped with various facilities starting from education facilities, worship places, until sporting facilities, et cetera,” he said.
