City Cooperates with High Prosecutors' Office to Escort Regional Strategic Development

Jakarta Provincial Government strengthens its synergy with Jakarta High Prosecutors' Office (Kejati) to ensure development programs are running well and in accordance with the regulations.

Some regional strategic activities that are oriented to public interest require escort and supervision

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah conveyed, strategic development activities that require escort and supervision from Kejati will be inventoried further.

"Some regional strategic activities that are oriented to public interest require escort and supervision, such as in building school, health center (Puskesmas), hospital, and others," he said after attending socialization about escorting and supervision towards national strategic development project that is held at Jakarta Kejati, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (2/4).

According to him, escorting and supervision process is carried out from planning the project, auction, construction, until the object is handed over to the provider.

 

"It is important thus regional strategic development programs can be carried out fast, on time, and not violating the law," he stated.

Meanwhile, Jakarta Kejati Head, Asri Agung Putra explained, his side will escort and ensure regional strategic development that inherent in intelligence function, both at attorney general's office, high prosecutor's office, and state attorney's office to be carried out well.  

"Mr. Saefullah has conveyed the legal protection related to the strategic activities in Jakarta Provincial Government. For this reason, we are ready to escort and supervise the activities," he asserted.

According to him, escort and supervision are needed to ensure regional strategic development activities to run well, based on its purpose and function.

"Development project should be in accordance with the specifications in implementation. Besides, budget's utilization should be also in accordance with the achievements and its function," he closed.
