Cultural Art Training will Be Held in 60 RPTRAs in South Jakarta

South Jakarta Culture Sub-department (Sudinbud) plans to hold cultural art training in 60 Chindren-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA)s in 2020. This training are open for public, both students, children, and adults can join this training.

South Jakarta Sudinbud's Cultural Training Section Head, Fabrianto mentioned, training will be started in mid of February until end of June. It consists of traditional dance class, music class, theater class, fine art class, and handicraft class.
"We involve 60 teachers from art studios, 60 assistants, and 60 administrators from RPTRAs in South Jakarta," he informed, Thursday (2/6).
DPRD Encourages Culture Department to Hold More Cultural EventsAccording to him, his side will not limit the number of students for each class. Besides, things learned in each class will depend on the local residents' requests or needs.
"This class is open every Saturday and Sunday. Regarding what time it starts, it depends on the agreement between trainer, administrator, and participants in each RPTRA," he said.
His side prepared budget for holding this training as much as Rp 1.4 billion, including the facilities, for six months.
"This budget will be also used to honor teachers and administrators in RPTRAs and to hold special competitions between RPTRAs to compete at provincial level," he closed.
