West Jakarta Targets to Hold IKM Training with 2,240 Participants

The West Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperative and Small Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-department is set to hold Small Medium Industry (IKM) training in March 2020.
Those who are interested to join can register to RW, urban village or sub-district office by bringing copies of ID card (KTP) and family card (KK)
West Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-department Head, Nuraini Sylviana mentioned, there are three industries provided in this program; culinary, handicraft, and fashion. This program targets 2,240 participants to be entrepreneurs and creates new jobs for the others.
"We have socialized it to residents. Those who are interested to join can register to RW, urban village or sub-district office by bringing copies of ID card (KTP) and family card (KK). It is opened for residents who have never attended similar training before," she explained, Friday (2/14).

While participants in fashion industry will learn making clothes, then in handicraft industry they learn to make tote bag, multipurpose basket, and tissue box. This training will be held in 8 sub-district offices in West Jakarta.
Her side opens culinary industry in 3 waves, and then fashion and handicraft industries are 2 waves for each. Per wave is available for 40 participants and they will be trained for 4 days,
