Hopefully, PDJR can be better and more successful

The Jakarta Provincial Government Runners (PDJR) held a series of activities celebrating its 2nd anniversary.

PDJR Chairperson Alexander Limbong said it was filled by 6K run event that takes a start line from City Hall and continued to Dukuh Atas - City Hall, as well as 12K run event with route from City Hall - Semanggi - City Hall.

"We also have gymnastics activities and door prize today. As a form of gratitude, we also cut birthday cakes and pray together," he expressed, Sunday (2/16).

By so, it was expected to strengthen silaturahmi (friendship) in each other and make all PDJR members healthier so they can work and do activities optimally.

"Hopefully, PDJR can be better and more successful, as well as its members can take part in running competitions, both locally and internationally," he hoped.

One of PDJR members who also serve as the Jakarta Population and Settlement Control Division Governor Deputy Suharti was happy to join the running community.

"I hope there will be more members, more active activities and will inspire more local government employees to run," she uttered.

Similar statement also came out from another member Abi Rizal who currently works in the South Jakarta Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Land Sub-agency.

"My hope is PDJR can be a pioneer for ASN civil servants and other employees to be more active and active in sports and to live a healthy lifestyle," he hoped.

As for the information, PDJR is a running community whose majority of members work and have the status of ASN under Jakarta Provincial Government. Its members also come from the city and district areas.

It has been established since February 14 and now already has 250 members. As non-formal community, it also grows to maintain and strengthen togetherness in sports but also a means of interaction and communication.
