Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) Program has been initiated since two years ago and it continues to develop in accordance with SMEs industry and market needs, including to listen to the entrepreneurs' aspirations.
Coming with a new brand, Jakpreneur, this program is expected to be a platform for the creation, facilitation and collaboration of SMEs development through entrepreneurial ecosystems, such as start-ups, educational institutions, and financing institutions.

s formed based on the fact that Jakarta is home for 1.1 million SMEs contribute to the economy and the supply of Jakartans needs. SMEs also has a big contribution in absorbing manpower.Based on Jakarta BPS data, number of SMEs in Jakarta reached 98.78 percent from total number of business. Jakarta Government is consistent in taking an active role for supporting SMEs development through Jakpreneurs program.
"Those who are participating in Jakpreneur program have an opportunity to obtain facilities thus they can develop collaboratively. For example, in providing access to periodic assistance and training to trigger SMEs development and creation, as well as access to capital to banks/institutions/other parties, marketing, and legality in urban space," stated Sri Haryati, Jakarta Secretary's Assistant in Economy and Financial, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.
At first, Integrated Entrepreneurship Development Program was socialized on December 14, 2017 at Great Hall of Jakarta City Hall on the event of 'Inauguration of 200,000 New Entrepreneurs and Upgraded Entrepreneurs through One Sub-district One Center for Entrepreneurship (OK OCE) Program'.
Next, this program was regulated in Governor Regulation No. 102/2018 regarding Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT).
Within a year, PKT program has assisted more than 39,000 SMEs who are mostly women and novice entrepreneurs.
Through Governor Regulation (Pergub) No. 102/2018, he added, PKT program was focused on providing an entrepreneurial development activity center.
At sub-district level, Jakarta Government built 44 Entrepreneurship Development Posts in each sub-district offices in Jakarta.
This program also provided facilities for entrepreneurship development through registration, training, assistance, licensing, marketing, financial reporting, and access to capital.
Until end of 2019, as many as 111,108 SMEs have joined this program and 13,321 SMEs have obtained their business licensing.
Besides, 7,327 new entrepreneurs were assisted in marketing their products and 1,064 entrepreneurs obtained access to capital from Bank DKI.
Until today, government continues to develop the program. This year, Jakpreneur is present as the implementation of Governor Regulation No. 2/2020 concerning the Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT), which is a refinement of PKT program.
This regulation facilitates entrepreneurs or potential entrepreneurs to develop their business.
Moreover, Jakpreneurs is also committed in facilitating SMEs both in public and private spaces that are standardized with a good quality according to applicable regulations.
Entrepreneurs who are interested to be Jakpreneurs can register online via https://jakpreneur.jakarta.go.id and bring their original documents to sub-district office or designated locations informed by Jakarta Government.
"If you are constrained to register online, Jakpreneur fostered candidates can visit Jakpreneur Secretariat in each Sub-District to be assisted by accompanying officers," she conveyed.
Jakpreneurs program is implemented by 7 Departments namely, Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Department; Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Department (Disnakertrans); Tourism and Creative Economy (Parekraf) Department; Empowerment, Children Friendly, and Population Control (PPAPP) Department, and Social Department.
In addition, Jakpreneurs program keeps improving into an open platform for all parties to collaborate in various aspects of entrepreneurship, starts from holding training with universities and practitioners, marketing with e-commerce, providing access to special capital with applicators and banks that provide business credit. Some of the collaborations that currently exist in the Jakpreneur program include:
1. Shopee: ongoing training and coaching for transactions via online
2. Gojek: training, collaboration in marketing events, and digital payments
3. Bukalapak: training, training for facilitators, and through Bukalapak community
4. Grab: marketing and digital payment expansion
5. Tokopedia: training, training for facilitators, and product marketing
6. Bearbox: cooperation in marketing and co-retailing of built products
7. Bank Indonesia: education accounting / financial reports as well as marketing opportunities abroad
8. Financial Services Authority: facilities for the Financial Information Service System (SLIK) and encourage the financial services industry to provide capital for the fostered entrepreneurs
9. LLDIKTI (Institute for Higher Education Services) Region III - Jakarta: in organizing training and mentoring for fostered entrepreneurs, as well as coordinators for cooperating with other tertiary institutions in Jakarta.
Jakarta Provincial Government is optimistic to reach 200,000 entrepreneurs in 2022. All this time, Jakpreneur has been involved in providing consultation rooms throughout sub-district offices, joint training of approximately 70,000 members, capital for more than 800 members (based on request), permits for more than 24,000 members, as well as cooperation and collaboration with tech partners (Gojek, Grab, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Shopee), universities in Jakarta through LLDIKTI, great businessmen, various communities and associations.
By improving Jakpreneur program, his side hopes SMEs in Jakarta can be more productive, competitive, and better quality, and facilitated within the city.
