As many as 50 students of SMKN 61, Tidung Island and Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) from three urban villages in South Thousand Islands were taught digital marketing techniques by the Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency, on Tuesday (2/25) to Wednesday (2/26).
This technical guidance given was how to promote tourism and handicraft products and processed through social media.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head Hafsah added that it was greatly helped them to be more literate in digital technology and to be able to use it positively.
"By so social media can be maximized into positive things and produce economically for those who use them," he stated.
