DPRD Chairman Congratulates on Vice Governor's Inauguration

Hopefully the new vice governor can do the mandate of citizens as well as possible

Jakarta DPRD Chairman Prasetio Edi Marsudi, congratulated on the inauguration of elected Jakarta Vice Governor Ahmad Riza Patria by President Jokowi at the State Palace, Wednesday (15/4).

He also congratulated Jakarta people who have a new vice governor to accompany the Governor Anies Baswedan.

"Hopefully the new vice governor can do the mandate of citizens as well as possible, work hard and can continue all work programs to be even better," he expressed.

Based on the view of the legislator, there were several crucial issues that must be prioritized in Jakarta, such as flooding and traffic jam.

If these issues had been resolved, he assessed, the development process and the economic wheel in Jakarta would automatically affect the increase in regional income (PAD).

He uttered that the vice governor had a special obligation to assist the governor in combating the spread of COVID-19.

"I hope the new governor want to visit the affected people firsthand, what they need, etc," he said.
