Commuters, You Can Now Buy MRT Tickets via MRT-J App

The city-owned transportation company PT MRT Jakarta has now prepared a ticket purchase application 'MRT-J 'as part of the MRT service innovation. Commuters will be able to download the MRTJ app on Android and iOS app stores (to pay using QR codes).

It can be used in all operating stations, namely Lebak Bulus, Fatmawati, Cipete Raya, Blok M, Dukuh Atas and Bundaran HI

"It can be used in all operating stations, namely Lebak Bulus, Fatmawati, Cipete Raya, Blok M, Dukuh Atas and Bundaran HI," said MRT Jakarta President Director, William Sabandar, Monday (4/27).

He mentions it is launched as a form of following trends in usage as a means of payment. However the use of multi-trip and electronic money cards can still be useable.

Next Monday, MRT will Close Senayan and Benhil Stations

"This is also one of our steps in supporting the implementation of physical distancing to curb the spread of COVID-19," he stated.

Even, starting today his party has closed two stations during PSBB status. They are Haji Nawi, Blok A, ASEAN, Istora and Setiabudi.

"We'll also close Senayan and Bendungan Hilir stations. That means the train won't serve them," he closed.
