Jakarta KPID Head, Kawiyan mentioned, his side will keep monitoring television shows to ensure physical distancing and health protocols implementation.

"So far, no more television shows that invite or present people or audience in the studio. For example Pesbukers show that only shows the hosts without audience," he mentioned, Tuesday (4/28).

Here are KPID's Instructions Related to COVID-19

According to him, the program must include description of the event if it contains of crowd and recorded before PSBB implementation.

"Usually the shows which are broadcast on TV still present the audiences. Thus it needs to display information at the beginning of the show that it has been recorded before PSBB applied," he explained.

He expected all broadcasting institutions to comply with all instructions from local and central government regarding prevention of COVID-19 transmission.

"Without support from the community, government's efforts to handle COVID-19 pandemic will be not optimal. We also want the broadcasting institutions to provide shows that can educate the public regarding this issue," he asserted.
