75 Joint Personnel Monitor PSBB Implementation in Jatinegara

75 joint personnel were deployed to monitor Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) implementation on checkpoint along Jalan Matraman Raya, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta.

We impose sanctions on all violators

In this monitoring, personnel stopped every road users who didn't wear masks, collected their data for BAP, and imposed sanctions for the violators.

Jatinegara Sub-district Deputy Head, Eka Kartika Wahyuningsih stated, there are social sanction and administrative fines for the violators to give deterrent effect thus they can be more discipline and comply with PSBB regulations in order to prevent COVID-19 transmission.

"From our monitoring, there are still many people who violate the regulations such as not wearing masks. We impose sanctions on all violators," she conveyed, Tuesday (5/19).

Jatinegara Satpol PP Head, Sadikin said, 75 personnel were deployed from Satpol PP at sub-district level, Transportation Sub-agency, and TNI/Police. His side always monitor and guard the checkpoints every day in different locations.

"In the second phase of PSBB, we are focus on imposing social sanctions and administrative fines on violators to give them deterrent effect," he asserted.
