Facing New Normal, Council Expects Improvement in Tourism Sector

Jakarta Council (PSBB) Commission B Chairperson, Abdul Aziz asked tourism sector managed under Jakarta Government to be improved before new normal scenario is implemented on June 1.

According to him, it is very important to open the tourism sector in Jakarta for recovering city's economy. But it should be preceded by improving or adjusting regulations that give priority to public's safety.

When the new normal scenario is implemented or the end of the Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period, his side expected tourism sector which managed by Jakarta Government can be a role model for private parties who are also engaged in this sector.

"I hope tourism sectors managed by Jakarta Government can be a role model for the private parties," he mentioned.
