 140 Warga dan Pedagang Pasar Jangkrik Jalani Rapid Test

Rapid Test Given for Local Residents and Jangkrik Market Merchants

Today, as many as 140 local residents and merchants in Jangkrik Market, Pisangan Baru, Matraman, East Jakarta underwent COVID-19 rapid test at Jami Daarustsawab Mosque's yard, Jangkrik Market.

Hopefully, this pandemic will end soon thus we can live normally again

Pisangan Baru Urban Village Head, Sugihastuti mentioned, her side coordinated with Matraman Sub-district Puskesmas to hold rapid test today. Initially, it was planned to be carried out for 200 people, but only 140 people who participated in this test.

"Previously, we have distributed circular letter to RW and RT to inform it to the residents. Thus today they can go to the mosque's yard for rapid test," she said.

According to her, many people didn't want to take the test because they worried if the result is positive, they will be quarantined or sent to the hospital.

One of the residents, Vivi Novianti (26) felt grateful for obtaining free rapid test from government at Jangkrik Market, because people will be charged if they want to take rapid test in hospitals.

"Since it is free, I take the test. Because in hospital, we need to pay to get rapid test. Hopefully, this pandemic will end soon thus we can live normally again," she conveyed.
