PT. Transjakarta Corporate Secretary and Public Relation Division Head, Nadia Diposanjoyo mentioned, additional personnel is needed to anticipate buildup of passengers in bus shelters and buses. Besides, her side also expected passengers to be patient in this situation.
"Lane sterilization is important to ensure a smooth bus dispatch. More personnel is needed to control the density of passengers in the bus shelters and buses. Those additional personnel will ensure safe distance between passengers in order to curb the spread of COVID-19," she explained, Sunday (6/14).
Transjakarta Optimizes Regulatory Patterns During Transitional PSBBAccording to her, Transjakarta added more security personnel, line operational personnel, and bus shelters service personnel.
In detail, there are 90 operational security personnel, 335 line operational security personnel, 25 comment center personnel, and 500 personnel who serve passengers at bus shelters.
"It is double from the normal days to manage the queue, 13 contact center personnel in the office who are standby for 24 hours to reply passenger's questions," she added.
Furthermore, there are 32 mechanics and telematics, as well as 39 infrastructure engineering officer.
"Other personnel will back up their work thus Transjakarta operational can be optimal in serving all passengers in Jakarta," she asserted.
Despite of additional passengers, her side expected passengers to keep their distance with the others both in the bus shelters and on the bus.
