Dispora's Coached Athletes Keep Practicing at Home During Transitional PSBB Period

Athletes coached by Jakarta Youth and Sport Agency (Dispora) asked to train routinely at  home during transitional Large-scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) period. This policy was taken because sport facilities haven't been operated fully.

Until today, they are still training at home with training program from their trainers

Jakarta Dispora Head, Achmad Firdaus conveyed, coached athletes will maintain their physical condition by training at home, while their trainers will plan their training programs.

"Until today, they are still training at home with training program from their trainers. Our athletes will also report their training or record it in a video," he explained, Thursday (6/18).

Dispora Reopens Outdoor Sports Facilities

According to him, athletes reported their training by recording it in a video or via video conferencing app every day. Besides, coached athletes in 36 sports were also asked to fill training report form through a link that has been provided.

"We also form Monitoring Team to evaluate athlete's training program whether it is suitable or not for them. Trainer will report it to Monitoring Team and later this team will provide an evaluation of trainer's report every month," he closed.
