Thousand Islands Technical Work Unit (UKT) I holds Quran recitation and memorization activities for students through Instagram app.

We will hold this event once a week

Thousand Island UKT I Library and Archive Section Head, Cecep Suryadi conveyed, the first phase of those activities were held on Wednesday (6/24) and Thursday (6/25). There were 3 participants with maximum age of 12 years. They were required to memorize and recite Surah Al-Alaq, then posted it by mentioning Instagram account @perpustakaankep.seribu with hastag #pulauseribumengaji.

"The winner will be announced on June 26," he added, Thursday (6/25).

According to him, the winner will get cash Rp 100,000 and a Quran.

"We will hold this event once a week. We ask for support from urban village heads to socialize it to their residents.
